An idea was sparked after reading a news article.

February 2021

Registered as a nonprofit.

The organization was formalized in early 2021. Foster Fete was registered as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with both the IRS and State of Colorado.

May 2021

We celebrated our first birthday!

June 2021

Partnered with Denver Health, Denver Human Services, and Third Way Center Group Homes.

To date, we’ve celebrated 311 birthdays with Denver Health, 353 with Denver Human Services, and 235 with Third Way Center!

December 2021

Featured on Ellen’s “All Good Things” and recipient of $5,000!

June 2022

Celebrated our 500th Birthday!

August 2023

Celebrated our 1,000th Birthday!

August 2024

Received our largest-ever cash donation from Altar’d State, over $20k!

March 2025

Partnered with over 13 foster placement agencies in the Denver-metro area, and passed 1,500 birthdays!
